Jesus talks about tithing in Luke. He says, "Woe to you Pharisees, because you give God a tenth of [everything], but you neglect justice and love of God. You should have practiced the latter without leaving the former undone." 

Many churches emphasize tithing, but seem to neglect the justice and love of God. 

We pray that at Union Center you will find that we are seeking to practice justice and love of God, while recognizing that the work of ministry does require financial resources.
